Qohenje has three "demonstrative adjectives" which are free morphemes and which stand immediately before their head. Their orthographic forms are highly stylized ligatures:

   

 

TR case marks prefix to the demonstrative, (which is normally written beneath the TR case ligatures, the case+demonstrative symbols rendering a preceding cejhan redundant)

In the case of demonstrative LMs, no such combining occurs, as the demonstrative and the case mark are on opposite sides of the lexeme:

Note that in speech, TR case marks are sometimes repeated on the TR head noun ( ). Such redundant repetition of the case mark is never written, however.

Demonstrative proforms are made with the abstract lexeme :
