As its name suggests, the COM aspect indicates that the criterial attributes of the lexeme are finished, over or no longer applicable. The specific entailment of this aspect depends upon the core semantics of the lexeme itself.
For AN lexemes whose central meaning is the denotation of a living being of some kind, the COM aspect indicates a deceased individual:
